Ignoring the pain does not make it disappear! Maybe you have already learned this lesson for yourself or maybe you have to be reminded.
Or...you are suffering with chronic pain right now that you are currently ignoring while thinking it will disappear but, instead, it is either going nowhere, getting worse or maybe even causing pain in other parts of your body.
We can sometimes ignore small and nagging pains and they actually do resolve on their own and we tend to notice them less.
But if you are continually ignoring pain that does not clear up and it is starting to have an effect on your life, then it is time to start investigating to determine the cause and come up with a plan to work on healing.
The body naturally wants to be in a place of balance and if something isn't working properly, it will usually give you signs that something is not right.
One of the most important things you can do for a healthy future is to pay attention when your body needs your extra support to help it move away from pain and back to comfort.
What is it trying to tell you?
Taking time to slow down, breathe, meditate, stretch, get a massage... can help you drop into a deeper place of listening and connecting to help guide you.
